Federal agents seized a dinosaur skull that is related to a Mongolia smuggling investigation from a home located in Wyoming .
According to Washington Post, the skull that was seized from the Wyoming home is related to an investigation into smuggling fossils from Mongolia, which indicates that efforts are making progess when it comes to trying to stem this illegal trade.
According to NBC, The skull is worth between $250,000 and $400,000 and is a close relative of the T-Rex.
Authorities said because the investigation is ongoing no details were being released about the Wyoming case, according to New Zealand Herald.
Authorities confirmed that the Wyoming investigation is related to a case in which a Florida fossils dealer was charged with smuggling dinosaur bones.
