As "Far Cry 3" is due to released to stores, its publisher Ubisoft released a developer diary video about Michael Mando the actor behind the antagonistic Vaas.
“Far Cry 3,” which is released today on November 4, has been going through a lot of publicity. This game is developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the third installment of the Far Cry first person shooter series. There have been many trailers and preview videos building up the excitement prior to the game's North American release. Apparently, out of all the characters, the villainous psychopath Vaas is apparently the main star. His popularity seemingly dwarfs the popularity of the other characters in Far Cry 3.
In the latest video from Ubisoft, a “developer diary,” it is revealed on how they found the person to voice and appear Vaas. That person is Canadian actor Michael Mando. In terms of portrayal of Vaas, Mando seems to have a very active role in the pre-production, production, and post-production phase. For the most part, from the trailers and magazine covers, one can say that Vaas/Mando is the face Far Cry 3.

Mando served as the motion capture (mocap) actor, voice, and physical appearance for the insane Vaas. Due to Vaas' role in the game and his personality, it seems highly likely that he'll become one of the most iconic video game villains.
When Far Cry 3 made the covers of numerous video game related magazines, one could see Vaas' face. That alone shows that while Vaas is the main villain of the game, he is the face of the game.
On IMDb, Mando has an extensive list of credits of roles in “Psych,” “The Killing,” “The Pregnancy Project,” “The Border,” and “Flashpoint.” According to his IMDb page, one film is completed while there are three others in post-production.
