article imageVideo: Singing flash mob surprises mall Christmas shoppers

By Greta McClain     Dec 2, 2012 in Internet
Earlier this week, a video of a singing flash mob began making the rounds on Facebook, already receiving more than 16,000 "likes" and nearly eighty-one thousand shares.
The video, which was also posted on Youtube earlier on Sunday, begins with clips of shoppers strolling through a shopping mall before a lone woman's voice is heard singing "Joyful Joyful". Other woman in the flash mob join in, and before long, shoppers are singing along as well. The show continued with four men riding up a nearby escalator singing "O Come All Ye Faithful".
The musical treat continues as a lone man leads the gathering crowd in "Go Tell It on the Mountain", encouraging the crowd to clap along with the song. Various other non-secular Christmas carols are sung before the show ends when a man and woman dressed as Mary and Joseph step forward holding a baby wrapped in a blanket.
A similar video was posted to GodVIne on Wednesday. That video captured a singing flash mob at a shopping mall food court.
