The newest live-action trailer for "Metro: Last Light" is available for viewing. This trailer marks the return of the use of military-grade ammo as the game's form of currency.
“Metro: Last Light,” which is published by THQ and developed by 4A Games, has released the latest live-action game trailer. Previously, the game released a live-action trailer in regards to religious madmen who gained power through truth due to the apocalypse. In regards to this trailer, the main character is a former supermodel. This brief trailer gives back and forth glimpses of her life before and after the apocalypse caused by a nuclear holocaust.
In respects to the trailer, it gives off the air of “forced socialism” as everybody seems to be equal after the nuclear holocaust. The game takes off after the “bad” ending from “Metro 2033” which is based off the book by Dmitry Glukhovsky. With respects to the supermodel, she had everything only to have nothing after the apocalypse. The diamonds and other riches she has are now worthless in this new post-apocalyptic Moscow. It brings forth the return of the currency system which is an important part of the game.
The end highlights the return of military grade ammunition, pre-war 5.45x39 mm rounds, is used as the currency. Instead of using money or other riches, players use these types of rounds and cartridges instead of gold coins, gemstones, bills, etc. In short, this trailer marks the return of military grade ammo as the primary currency of the games let alone Metro: Last Light.
Metro: Last Light is due to hit stores on March 31, 2013. It will be available for the PC, Sony Playstation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii U.
