article imageGiant sharks shock for water police

By Owen Weldon     Nov 26, 2012 in World
Sydney - Water police rushed to investigate reports of an overturned boat off a Sydney beach discovered two huge great white sharks feeding on a whale's remains.
Sources say that the incident occurred on Saturday afternoon, and one of the sharks was six meters long while the other shark was 4.5 meters long.
The whale blubber that the sharks were feeding on was only a few hundred meters off of Sydney's Whale Beach.
According to The Australian, one of the police officers said that the bigger shark was the biggest thing that he has seen in the water, besides a full grown humpack.
The police said that the whale blubber was about three square meters, but by the time they left the sharks, the blubber was much smaller than that.
