article imageVideo: The Lost Choir — 'Mad World' for Universal Children's Day

By Anne Sewell     Nov 22, 2012 in World
Wuppertal - Universal Children's Day was held on November 20th. The boys' choir, Wuppertaler Kurrende, sang "Mad World" in a moving dedication to the lost children.
Every three seconds the world loses a child, and this year many children will not see their fifth birthday. There are many causes for the loss of these children. Hunger, malnutrition, dirty water or the absence of vaccines, among many others, can weaken the immune system so much that avoidable diseases lead to life-threatening danger in children worldwide.
Especially in Africa, the International Children's Fund helps those children in need. Donations can help them to continue their work and help stop the world from needlessly losing many children every year.
The boy's choir, Wuppertaler Kurrende supported the idea, as can be viewed in the video above.
