According to
a recent Nielsen study, parents need to look no further than
Apple's iStore. American kids aged 6-12 seem more interested in the latest iOS offerings than other consumer electronics and gaming devices. Almost 50 per cent of those surveyed would like to get a full-sized iPad for Christmas.
For parents choosing presents, kids aged 6-12 preferences are as follows:
1. 48% full-sized iPad (up from 44% last year)
2. 39%
Nintendo’s newly-released console offering, Wii U
3. 36% iPad Mini (the new one) or an iPod Touch will do.
4. 33% iPhone
5. 31% will settle for a boring computer.
For teens iPads and computers are top of the list at 21 percent and 19 percent respectively.
