A Swedish woman who was arrested back in September after police found skeletons in her apartment has been charged on Tuesday for using the bones as sex toys.
According to The Local, the woman, 37, says she was motivated by an interest in history, and that is why she started to use the bones as sex toys.
Prosecutor Kristina Ehrenborg-Staffas said that she has never even heard of such a case and neither has her colleagues. She said that the case is very uncommon.
According to io9, the prosecution has presented evidence to the press on Tuesday, which included a CD labelled " My Necrophilia" and "My First Experience" which contained numerous documented files.
According to Daily Mail, the woman did admit that she did keep the skeletons in her apartment but she denied that she did anything wrong.
Photos from a morgue were found in her apartment as well as some body bags and a drill. An access code was also found in her apartment. If the woman is found guilty she faces up to two years in jail.
