A 15-year-old French girl who went missing was found tied up in the trunk of a car in Germany after a routine traffic stop.
According to New York Daily, Chloe Rodriguez went missing on November 9, when she was heading over to a friend's house on her scooter. Later on, the scooter and all of her belongings were found.
Rodriguez was found in the trunk of her kidnapper's car on Friday, after police in Germany pulled over the vehicle during a routine traffic stop.
According to NBC, Rodriguez was sent to the hospital after she was found, and her family says that she is physically exhausted but she is doing well.
According to NineMSN, the kidnapper is described as a 32-year-old man from the Gard region, which is where Rodriguez is from. The man was arrested and detained at a jail in Germany.
Reports say that the man was convicted in 2009 for physically and sexually assaulting six women. The man is said to have underwent the recommended psychiatry while in prison but when he was released he failed to check in with his probation officer.
Rodriguez said that she memorized details about the man, such as his car license plate, but she did not defy his orders because she did not want to be killed.
Rodriguez returned home on Saturday, where she was greeted with cheers.
