Ynet reports that Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat urged the capital's residents to continue their routine life and obey Home Front Command orders.
"The municipality is prepared for all scenarios, and the public bomb shelters are ready in case we need to open them," Barkat said.
Ynet news and Israel national radio reported heavy firing continuing in the south today,
three IDF soldiers were moderately injured.Tel Aviv was also targeted and areas surrounding Jerusalem.
