World's largest ever chocolate bar smashes Guinness World Record

Children stared open-mouthed in amazement as a Chicago company unveiled the world's largest ever chocolate bar, weighing in at an incredible 5.5 tonnes.

The World's Finest Chocolate had an ulterior motive in producing the enormous chocolate bar. Metro revealed the company intends to teach American school children about proportionate eating in a campaign dubbed "Think Big Eat Smart." The giant chocolate bar contains "1,200 pounds of almonds, 5,500 pounds of sugar, 2,000 pounds of milk powder, 1,700 pounds of cocoa butter and 1,400 pounds of chocolate liquor." According to MSM the four slab bar measures six and a half metres long. The chocolate treat has surpassed the previous Guinness World Record for largest chocolate bar. Oldies 1061 Radio reported the Grand Candy Factory in Armenia produced a five tonne bar that held the Guinness World Record until the World's Finest Chocolate came along and smashed it.
