This year has been rather interesting for fast food chains across Japan. To be specific, Burger King and McDonald's of Japan have been introducing some interesting ideas for the most part. McDonald's Japan has unveiled its “Gracoro Burger
” in which the patty is actually a fried croquette with macaroni, shrimp, and white sauce inside. It is served with sliced cabbage and a slice of cheese.
Burger King Japan started a trend with its “Kuro Burger
.” The Kuro Burger is a regular burger; but, there are some changes: the buns are jet black and the ketchup is black. The ketchup is made with regular ketchup mixed with black squid ink.
For the fall season, Burger King Japan had introduced the “BK Pumpkin
.” This is a burger that has a beef patty, bacon, lettuce, and sliced Japanese pumpkin. It is served with a creamy white sauce with nuts inside. For a little bit extra, you can get ten slices of fried pumpkin inside your BK Pumpkin.
Now, Burger King Japan is five years old. To celebrate its fifth birthday, Burger King Japan is offering two “all-you-can-eat
” buffet promotions. The first promotion is to take place from November 17 until November 21. If you go to one of the Burger King restaurants in Japan and order the Kuro Burger meal, you get a goodie: unlimited access to the “B'i King
” buffet for thirty minutes.
After November 21, the B'i King buffet is far from over. Another version of the B'i King buffet will become available from November 22 until November 30. This only applies to Whopper meals. In this respect, you have to order a Whopper meal to take advantage of this version. Then, you have a thirty minute limit to take advantage of the B'i King buffet. However, you need to finish the meal you paid for first. Afterward, just present the following at the register: empty cup, receipt, burger wrapper, and paper bag.
From November 17 until November 30, customers can take advantage of BK Japan's B'i King buffet. If you plan on taking advantage from November 17 until November 21, you need to order a Kuro Burger meal. After that, from November 22 until November 30, you need to order any Whopper meal.
