Urbana - A 22-year-old man received a couple of DUI's on early Sunday Nov. 4 after police in Ohio stopped him twice. Due to the end of Daylight Saving Time, records show that he managed to get both DUI's at essentially the same time.
According to Complex, police pulled over Niles Gammons at 1:08 a.m. after he allegedly drove down an alley in the wrong direction.
After registering a blood alcohol level of .116, Gammons was arrested and detained for a short time before being released to an adult.
MSN reports that an officer stopped Gammons again in the police station's parking lot shortly thereafter. The officer was nearly struck by his vehicle as he attempted to back it up. Gammons then allegedly told the officer that the person who had picked him up from the police station refused to drive him home.
Sportsmasher reports that since Daylight Saving Time had just ended and the clocks were set back an hour early, Gammons was issued another DUI at exactly the same time as the first.
