Evansville - Shawn Gourley and her publisher the Grumpy Dragon want to thank all the veterans in honor of Veteran's Day by making it easier for the American community to understand the trials behind PTSD.
In honor of Veteran's Day, Shawn Gourley has made her book The War at Home available for sale on Amazon for only 99ยข for the Kindle edition. You can download free Kindle software for you computer also on Amazon. The book is about the Gourley's personal experience in dealing with the diagnosing, treatment, and lifestyle trials that come with the territory of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Shawn and Justin Gourley have been through about every nightmare a person can imagine when one thinks of PTSD. They have had to fight for the right care every step of the way. Their trials are chronicled in Shawn's book written from both the perspectives of her and her husband to give the reader access to both sides of the story.
All proceeds go to a much needed hotline for caregivers of veterans with PTSD. The Healing Homeland Heroes Hotline will provide caregivers with access to other caregivers and PTSD veterans who have been through trials and hassles and help give caregivers support through experience.
