article imageVideo: Walmart employees record themselves throwing iPads

A video of Walmart employees throwing around boxes of iPads across a stockroom is going viral on YouTube. The video was not a "caught on tape" type, as it was purportedly filmed by the employees themselves.
According to Mashable, the video was sent by an "anonymous employee" of a Pikeville, K.Y. Walmart to Reddit user SenorPierre, who posted the YouTube video on the network.
A man who says he is a Walmart employee narrates throughout the 48 second clip.
"Alright, this is why you don't buy an iPad from Walmart," he says at the start of the video. “See, we like to throw sh**.”
The camera then turns to another employee and shows that man tossing an iPad box across the room to another employee, who catches it. Then the narrator notes he thinks the next one will hit the ground.
Sure enough, as one of the employees digs through a pile of boxes, he finds what is described as an iPad and subsequently slams it to the ground; a loud "twack" can be heard.
"Oh damn, oh wow. Sorry about that iPad, oh I hope nobody buys that," the voice says.
Then another box is slammed to the ground.
The video garnered a lot of attention. At time of publishing, the Reddit post had received 1047 comments and 1855 up votes. On YouTube, it had received almost 155,000 views; although most viewers do not seem to approve with the content as the video has received 544 "likes" and 2,128 "dislikes", with over 1,000 comments
Whether or not iPads were really in the boxes is difficult to tell, however either way it's probably not the ideal publicity Walmart would prefer as the retail giant prepares for its annual Black Friday sales. Just recently, Walmart had announced their Black Friday sales would begin at 8 p.m. Thanksgiving night.
Reportedly, the employees were fired, reported TheNextWeb.
