article imageVideo: Election News Meltdown: Jon Stewart Mocks Fox News

By R. Francis Rubio     Nov 8, 2012 in Entertainment
Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," has a field day with Karl Rove and Fox News on its Tuesday night coverage of the 2012 Presidential election.
"Last night, tragically, there was an avalanche on Bullsh*t Mountain, ladies and gentleman."
The day after Tuesday's live election night coverage, Jon Stewart, host of "The Daily Show" ripped into Fox News and the network's coverage of the 2012 presidential election results after President Obama, by all counts won.
If you had been watching the network's coverage of the presidential race prior to election night, you may have noticed that virtually none of the on-air-personalities seemed to think Mitt Romney could lose, with none apparently more sure of this version of the outcome than "Bush's Brain" himself, Karl Rove. Rove, once the right hand man of George W. Bush and now a Fox News analyst, proved to be the pundit most in denial after Fox called the election for Obama.
The Conservative campaigning mastermind refused to believe President Obama had won the state of Ohio, which would put him over the 270 electoral votes needed to win his re-election bid. Even with 74% of the votes in, and all other news outlets predicting an Obama win, Rove still refused to believe his network's position.
