article imageDonald Trump calls for revolution after Obama's victory

By JohnThomas Didymus     Nov 7, 2012 in Politics
Donald Trump has called for a revolution, urging Americans to "march on Washington" and "stop this travesty." He made the call after the voting results showed that Obama had won the presidential election.
Before election results began giving strong indications of who the victor would be, the reality TV show host and real estate mogul posted tweets that appeared reasonable statements of a political sage:

Whoever wins today, remember that tomorrow we still have a country struggling. Our work is not done until America is strong again.

"Truth will ultimately prevail where there is pains to bring it to light." --George Washington
After it became known that Obama had won, he tweeted a comment that suggested stoic resignation:

But strangely, instead of doing just that, his tweets became more shrill and reckless in tone:
[He lost the popular vote by a lot and won the election. We should have a revolution in this country!
[The phoney electoral college made a laughing stock out of our nation. The loser one!(sic)]

We can't let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty. Our nation is totally divided!

Lets fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us.

This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!

Our country is now in serious and unprecedented trouble...like never before.

Our nation is a once great nation divided!

The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy.

Hopefully the House of Representatives can hold our country together for four more years...stay strong and never give up!

House of Representatives shouldn't give anything to Obama unless he terminates Obamacare.
According to Salon, he deleted the tweet in which he called for a revolution, saying: "He lost the popular vote by a lot and won the election. We should have a revolution in this country!... The phoney electoral college made a laughing stock out of our nation. The loser one!(sic)."

The Inquistr explains that at the time Trump tweeted his call for a revolution, and complained about the split in popular votes and electoral college figures, total popular votes were still in favor of Romney but the electoral college figures indicated that Obama was heading for victory.
Many observers think these tweets were the expression of the first moments of his fury and disappointment and that later when he calms down he would likely realize just how much he's made a fool of himself.
