A CNN video uploaded today on Election Day shows a humanistic view of what it's like to be working the phone banks let alone on the big day. CNN covered both sides of the election by spending time with phone bankers from the campaigns of Democratic incumbent Barack Obama and GOP nominee Mitt Romney. The phone bankers from both campaigns explained their reasons for supporting their respective candidates.
The video shows that workers from both sides were very civil and hard at work trying to get those votes in. Neither side were talking negatively about each other. In short, the video gives a serious but light heart look at the foot soldiers of the political campaigns.
The coverage is in the state of Ohio which is a crucial battleground state that could either go to Obama or Romney. We won't know who wins Ohio until the polls close or some other news media makes the projection.
Former Ohio governor
Ted Strickland said on CNN that he believes Obama will win the state. Strickland explains why he believe it's the case.
