London - The government ban on the planned EDL Walthamstow march has backfired, as the EDL move Saturday’s demonstration to Westminster - outside the Houses of Parliament!
The National Demonstration is to be held at The Old Palace Yard from 11am, with the actual demo starting at 1pm.
It is likely that a large number of EDL will turn up as their leader, Tommy Robinson (real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon) is currently in prison on what many believe to be politically motivated and trumped up charges.
As reported by Digital Journal, the cause of Tommy Robinson has attracted protests as far away as Berlin, Germany.
A Facebook Group ‘Stop the Persecution of Tommy Robinson’ has been set up and already has 379 members.
