Coogee
-
Pine trees and flowers 66 times bigger than regular LEGO can be seen at Dunningham Reserve on the north side of Coogee beach until 28 October.
The Life-size LEGO forest was first on display in the Sydney CBD in April, then displayed in
Broken Hill (an Australian outback town) for a couple of weeks in July.
It is part of the
Festival of Play, celebrating 50 years of the LEGO brick in Australia.
The display was clearly very popular with small children as well as adults, who got to find out what it felt to be a Lego man.
A short walk further up the coast the annual Sculptures by the Sea exhibition is currently on display until 4 November, between Tamarama and Bondi beaches.
