Moussa Ibrahim the spokesman for the late Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi has been captured in Libya on what happens to be the first anniversary of Gaddafi's death.
BBC and the Daily Mail quote the Libyan Prime Ministers office stating that Ibrahim was "arrested by forces belonging to the Libyan government in the town of Tarhouna and he is being transferred to Tripoli to begin interrogation."
Ibrahim regularly held press conferences in the Tripoli hotel during the war last year where he defended Gaddafi and his actions.
He was last seen just before the fall of Tripoli to the rebel opposition in August of last year.
His capture today also marks the first anniversary of Gaddafi's murder, the former dictator was found by rebel forces hiding in a drain pipe near his hometown of Sirte. Before being killed he was taunted by the rebels and beaten before finally being executed.
