A 22-year-old man from Massachusetts, who was recently dumped by his girlfriend, ended up winning the lottery for millions of dollars.
According to Daily Mail, Sandeep Singh, from Cape Cod, was also working two jobs so he could get by, but he now has enough money to quit both jobs. That is because he became a multi-millionaire by splitting the $61 million prize with another winner from California.
According to Boston, Singh claimed his prize on Wednesday. He chose to get a one lump sum payment of around $23 million, and once taxes are taken out he will have around $16.1 million.
According to Providence Journal, reporters attempted to interview his ex-girlfriend, but spoke with her mother instead. The mother said that Singh can have all the fame he wants.
Singh said that he plans on buying a house for his family and he wants to go back to college.
