Mississauga - Fall is such an inviting season, with the turn of the leaves, the welcoming of warm beverages, bountiful harvests and temperatures cool enough to let your hair down as you decide to take a walk through the colourful foliage.
The nature trails nestled in Mississauga's Riverwood Park, certainly do not disappoint in these regards. Located by the Credit Valley river, an autumn stroll in this park is a real treat for the senses.
For many who visit, the park is a nearby retreat from the city. Steeped in history, natural wonder and even art (with the visual arts building on site), there is something for everyone: Whether you are an avid hiker, fisherman, artisan or just feel like being lost on your pathway of choice.
At first glance, your experience within the park me feel empty, with boundless grounds laid in front, in every direction. But Riverwood is continuously and actively maintained by the conservancy group registered in its name.
