Biloxi - Host of the Hour Magazine as well as the Miss America pageants from 1985 until 1989 the former co-host of The Home Show on the ABC network had run-in's with the law including a DUI arrest in 2009
According to the Sun Herald officials in Biloxi, Mississippi are reporting the Emmy award winning television host has died of natural causes shortly before 1 A.M.
Collins was brought to Biloxi Regional Medical Center overnight where he died according to Harrison County Deputy Coroner Brian Switzer. On his death records according to the Sun Herald his next of kin is listed as former Miss America Mary Ann Mobley from Brandon, Mississippi.
TMZ reported in 2011 that Collins was arrested for defrauding an innkeeper after failing to pay his $59.35 bill at Jazzeppi's Restaurant in Biloxi. Collins did not appear in court for that arrest and paid a $500 fine.
Collins was arrested in Glendale, California for DUI in 2008 and the following year on January 31, 2009 for driving a motor home while intoxicated in Santa Barbara County, where he was allegedly three times the legal limit.
Collins also guest starred in the films "Airport" and "Angel In My Pocket", once divorced he had three children.
