Bude - A local fisherman got washed overboard in Bude Bay in Cornwall, England. His boat then made a daring escape, but was captured by lifeguards in a dramatic chase.
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution in the United Kingdom has released the above dramatic video footage taken in Bude Bay, Cornwall.
A local fisherman and his companion had been thrown overboard, when a rogue wave hit their fishing boat on leaving the nearby harbor. The boat went zooming off under its own power.
Crew members of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution came along and rescued the fisherman, and then went chasing after his runaway boat. One of the crew members climbed aboard and captured the boat.
It seems they felt like cowboys, roping a boat, as a loud "Yeehaw" is heard at the end of the video.
