Countless people have dreamed of flying, or imagined swimming with dolphins in their natural environment. Few have realized both of these activities at the same time. Flyboarding is how it's done.

Flyboarding is one of the latest ways to have fun on, in or over the water, and all it takes is a jet ski plus the Zapata Racing Flyboard. From the ubiquitous email with a "You gotta watch this" to being amazed at the simplicity of the concept and then wondering about the engineering behind it, I sit here thinking: I have got to try that! This looks like more fun than a human being should be allowed to have. The video shows some folks who have obviously trained for a while, and who are good at it, going from up in the air to diving into the water to surface and 'jump' like a dolphin does. At about a minute in, this video shows someone who is apparently just learning. So far there is only one dealer on the West Coast, but they're only two hours away, this may have to happen before winter sets in.
