Huaihua - Caught on CCTV, a gas tanker exploded in central China on Saturday, killing three firemen and sending out a wave of white smoke.
The accident happened on the Changde-Jishou Expressway in Huaihua City, in Yunling county, in the Hunan Province of China.
Chinese state television reports that a gas tanker exploded after firemen arrived on the scene to deal with the overturned vehicle.
In the video footage, the tanker can be seen lying on the side of the road, next to the entrance to the tunnel. Several fire engines are parked nearby. A sudden explosion occurs, sending out a huge cloud of white smoke down the highway. The explosion caused the death of the three firemen.
