article imageJon Stewart rips Obama and Matthews

By Gar Swaffar     Oct 5, 2012 in Politics
From a most unlikely source comes a tirade of displeasure with President Obama's performance at the first Presidential debate.
Jon Stewart is not a Conservative icon, and some might not even describe him as being funny in his program, or enlightening. But he does have a schtick which works, and it is that schtick he used against President Obama and Chris (I felt this thrill running up my leg) Matthews recently.
Notably, Stewart noted that "There is no Red America, there is no Blue America, there is only the America which can't believe how bad this guy did" at which point he pointed to an inset picture of President America.
Making the point that President Obama had "broken" a supporter at NBC, Chris (I felt a thrill running up my leg) Matthews was shown ranting about the performance of the President. "I don't know what he was doing out there", I don't know how he let Romney get away with the crap he threw out"
"What was he doing tonight?" and more.
The unbiased nature of political coverage at NBC, may be in danger of slipping away.
Many on the Democrat side of the aisle appear to be very unhappy with the performance by the President. Is it possible President Obama will come out with a different attitude in the next debate?
