Former WWE superstar, Dave Bautista (known as Batista when he was in the WWE) is still going to make his MMA debut after getting a new opponent.
According to Bleacher Report, Batista was supposed to fight Rashid Evans on October 6, 2012, but Evans ended up getting arrested so now Batista has a new opponent.
According to Cage Side Seats, many heavyweights along the east coast was asked to step in for Evans, and finally Vince Lucero became the replacement.
According to Crunch Sports, Lucero is around Batista's age. Batista is 43, and Lucero is 40. Lucero has been in 42 professional fights and 11 of those fights he won via KO. Lucero has fought fighters such as former UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia as well as former UFC heavyweight contenders Homer Moore and Justin Eliers.
Batista VS Lucero will stream live for a worldwide audience at BautistaMMA.com, and the fight will also be available on DirecTV Pay Per View in North America.
