Washington man stabs himself during fight

Spokane - A Spokane Washington man proved that violence is not the answer when accidentally stabbing himself while fighting with another man in a hotel parking lot.

An unidentified man began arguing with another male subject at the Belair Seven Motel Sunday afternoon. The stabbing victim suggested the two take their argument outside and pulled out a “Rambo”-style knife according to NWCN. Police state both individuals went out into the hotel parking lot and the "victim" raised the knife and attempted to stab the other male subject. The male subject “pushed [the victim's] arm in defense, causing the man with the knife to cut himself in the chest" KREM states the victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released. Toxic Mind found a moral to the bizarre event, saying: "The moral of this story is, if you pull out a knife on someone (we recommend that you don’t) – make sure you know how to use it. Upon hearing of the story, one person stated: "Well, it could have been worse. At least he didn't bring a knife to the proverbial gun fight."
