Lindsay Lohan allegedly assaulted, choked in NYC hotel room

New York - Lindsay Lohan was allegedly assaulted in her New York hotel room by a man she met in a Chelsea nightclub early Sunday. The pair were arguing about some photos he took of the actress on his cell phone.

WNBC reports police say the suspect and some of Lohan's friends went back to her room at the W Hotel after partying at the 1 Oak nightclub. Lohan told police that when she saw photos of her on his phone, they started arguing and she took his phone. At that point, she says, the man threw her on a bed. She ran out of the 15th floor room and down the stairs. When she returned a short time later, Lohan says the man allegedly attacked her again, choking her and throwing her on the floor. Police say one of Lohan's friends was able to pull the man off and Lohan pulled the fire alarm. Lohan refused medical treatment. Police arrested a suspect in the stairwell, and 25-year old Christian LaBella has been charged with assault and harassment. It's been a rough month for Lohan. Earlier this month she was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident after allegedly clipping a pedestrian with a Porche SUV outside a Chelsea night club. And last Sunday she was rushed to a New York City hospital suffering from breathing problems apparently related to her asthma.
