article imageOp-Ed: Mathaba news website out on a limb

By Alexander Baron     Sep 28, 2012 in Politics
The Mathaba news website is holding on by a thread, but in view of some of the nonsense it has churned out since the invasion of Libya, it would be best if it didn't hold on at all.
The Mathaba independent news website has both a free service and a subscription service. Recently, the free news was curtailed, then restricted. At the moment, it is back, though it remains to be seen for how long, but in view of some of the nonsense it has been churning out since the overthrow of Colonel Gaddafi, it would be better if it disappeared quietly up its own exhaust pipe. Alas, if or more likely when it does go, it is likely to do so in an embarrassing furore.
The false flag nuclear attack it predicted for the recent London Olympics may have been the height of this foolishness, but there is no guarantee it won't sink any lower. Current stories include references to the recently murdered American ambassador in Libya as a war criminal, with the implication that he got what he deserved. Christopher Stevens was actually murdered by a mob angry at the blasphemous film Innocence Of Muslims, a film he played no part in, and which his government including his boss - the President - has condemned.
Apparently this was a defeat of a "White Supremacist" America, ignoring among other things the large number of black soldiers who have given their lives for it. Or is it really the Great White Bigot running the show, because:
"Muammar Qadhafi spoke and warned until blue in the face, yet the greedy white supremacists, the bankrupt 'jewish' bankers and their media whores, the heartless corporations driven by a mad pursuit of profits at any cost, would not listen".
There is a lot more in this vein in many recent articles, but that is more than enough to demonstrate their tone.
The great tragedy of Mathaba is that the people running it understand how the corrupt, debt-based money system works, and the threat posed by the New World Order, but instead of lobbying for financial reform and arguing rationally against the madness that has set the Middle East alight, they continue to perpetuate the same gibberish about false flags and St. Muammar Gaddafi.
