Kathmandu - A plane crash in Nepal has been reported to have killed 19 people. The cause of the crash is still under investigation at this time.
The Himalayan country's Civil Aviation Authority has reported that a plane caught fire and crashed killing 19 people Friday according to CNN and Rueters. The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
According to NDTV the crash killed “12 foreigners, including seven British and five Chinese tourists. The remaining seven, including three crew members, are Nepalese” according to national police spokesperson Binod Singh.
According to Singh the plane crashed shortly after leaving the airport in Nepal at around 6:30 am. The pilots apparently attempted to land safely but were unable due to the fire.
