Monday, during a concert in Washington D.C., Madonna, waxed political with her fans, sharing her dubious reasons why they should all vote for President Obama.
Clad in tight black leather, the 54-year-old pop singer, born Madonna Louise Ciccone, used some of her more familiar vocabulary to articulate to fans precisely why it is she expects them to vote for Obama, according to The Examiner.
“Y’all better vote for f–king Obama, OK? For better or for worse, all right? We have a black Muslim in the White House! Now that’s some amazing s–t,” Madonna said.
Invoking God’s name in her on-stage electoral suggestions, the aging pop star continued, saying, “It means there is hope in this country. And Obama is fighting for gay rights, so support the man, g-damnit.”
Earlier this year, Madonna was criticized by a fellow performer at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida for referencing a popular street drug.
"Electronic music has been a part of my life since the beginning of my career and I can honestly say that a DJ saved my life," Madonna said to the cheering crowd before introducing DJ AVICII.
She then added: "I have a few questions for you – how many people in this crowd have seen Molly?"
'Molly' is the street term for MDMA, the active chemical in ecstasy, according to an article by The Telegraph that said Madonna was branded an "idiot" by colleagues afterwards.
Some say Madonna is struggling to stand out in a virtual sea of much younger and highly successful female recording artists.
