Staffers of the Howard Stern radio show hit the streets to interview Obama supporters and ask them why they are voting for him. The accompanying audio clip is both hilarious and frightening, given the fact that these people are actually allowed to vote.
Two members of the Howard Stern radio show staff went to Harlem to do man on the street interviews with Obama supporters and the results are quite astounding. The participants featured in the audio clip are utterly and completely clueless, Click here to listen to audio.
No one knew that Osama bin Laden had already been killed. One lady said that he should be imprisoned but that we should not kill him when we catch him. The interviewees also thought Paul Ryan was Obama's running mate and when asked if they thought Obama chose him because he was black, they said they didn't think race had anything to do it with it.
When asked about Obama being a Mormon and Romney being Muslim, nobody knew enough to correct the interviewer. Similarly, when asked if they liked Obama because he was pro life and disliked Romney because he was pro choice, still none of the participants was well enough informed to correct the interviewer. One person even thought that John McCain was running against Obama again this time.
Regardless of your party affiliation or who you chose to vote for, please try to be an informed voter. Do just a little bit of research into the candidate and his or her stand on the issues. Uninformed voters, like those featured in this audio clip, muddy the waters and skew the results.
Until more of the voting public become better informed, the following old saying will continue to hold true:
We might not get the government that we want but we will get the government that we deserve.
