As Chris Brown prepared for a court hearing over a possible parole violation in connection with his assault on Rihanna in 2009, Rihanna sent him a message of good luck.
The Sun reports Brown was in court in Los Angeles accused of failing a drug test for marijuana this summer in Virginia, in violation of his parole, that he received for his assault on the R&B singer 3 years ago.
But just hours before Brown's court appearance, Rihanna, who's charge of assault landed him the 5-year parole term, sent her "ex" a tweet, saying ”@chrisbrown I’m praying for you and wishing u the best today.” Brown responded, "thank you so much."

Later, in a more cryptic message Rihanna posted a tweet that, based on the couple's history and recent comments from RiRi to Oprah, seems to be directed at Brown. "Praying for you baby, my best wishes are with you today! Remember that whatever God does in our lives, it is WELL DONE!!! #1Love."

While it's not totally clear if that is directed at Brown, she told Oprah in an interview last month that she's still in love with him, "We love each other and we probably always will,” adding, "I think he was the love of my life.”
Brown tested positive for marijuana this summer in Virginia, where the drug is illegal, but he told the judge at his hearing, he smoked it in California where he has a medical marijuana prescription.
Judge Patricia Schnegg accepted the argument, saying she never made drug testing a part of his parole, and she let him off with a warning. The judge ordered him to come back to court November 1 over claims that he failed to complete his community service order and has violated travel restrictions. The judge warned Brown, 'You are not an average person who can sit in their living room and do what you want to do. You are not only in the public eye, but you are on probation," and added, "A lot of people look up to you - a lot of kids,' she said. 'What you do and what you say impacts other people."
