A suspected meteor shower was spotted in the skies of the United Kingdom. People from all over the UK said that they witnessed what they believed to be a meteor shower.
According to MenMedia, the bright lights were spotted over Stockport, Wigan, Salford, Manchester and Droylsden, as well as sightings all over the United Kingdom,
According to BBC, the Belfast coastguard has taken calls from people who said that they saw objects from Coleraine, located on the north coast. The sightings were also reported in Dublin, as well as Strangford Lough, which is located in the south east.
According to The Northern Echo, the Durham Police Department also received many phone calls regarding the sightings of the flying objects that were lighting up the sky.
A spokesman for the Durham Police Department said that the activities was a result of a meteor shower. The spokesman went onto say that it was evident across the entire North Of England.
