Set for release in November, the film is expected to premier on Lifetime Network. Playing the role of Taylor's lover and real life husband is "True Blood' star, Grant Bowler. In real life, famed icon, Elizabeth Taylor first met Burton on the set of "Cleopatra." But in describing the new film, producer Larry A. Thompson said it was like "Liz and Dick really live again."
"Lohan and Bowler not only do they look like Taylor and Burton, but their acting together and chemistry really says to you that Liz and Dick live again. You can see it, sense it and feel the chemistry," said Thompson.
Containing a few momentous scenes between the former lovers, the latest clip is plastered with the words : 'Infamous! Scandalous! Dangerous!' followed by a heated argument. Lohan then throws a glass against a wall, while yelling, "you're screwing that witch?!"
Despite the scandal, "Liz&Dick" is still said to be safe enough for prime time.
