The Philippine concert tour dubbed "American Idol' Live! Tour 2012" is the last leg of the 45-city tour of the US and the group's first Asian concert tour.
"American Idol" held a one-night concert in the Philippines Friday, featuring the top 10 contestants from season 11 which include Joshua Ledet, DeAndre Brackensick, Elise Testone, Erika Van Pelt, Hee Jun Han, Skylar Laine, Colton Dixon and Hollie Cavanagh.
Runner-up Jessica Sanchez, whose mother is from Bataan, Philippines is visiting her mother's home country for the first time.
Sanchez appears to be the most popular among the top contestants of season 11. She has appeared as guest performer in major sports and political events in the U.S. including her latest appearance on the National Democratic Convention in North Carolina recently.
The SRO crowd at the 15,000-seat Smart Araneta Coliseum cheered and enjoyed the show which ran for over two hours showcasing the individual talents of each member of the group.
The 17-year-old singing sensation from Chula Vista, California, has started recording her first album under Interscope Records, a recording company based in Sta.Monica, California. Read more.

American Idol has just completed the next season's panel of judges which include Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj and old-timer Randy Jackson.
Sanchez said she was impressed by this year's judges line-up which was announced before the group traveled to Manila.
"I think those are amazing choices for the new judge panel. They're definitely different from the other people," Sanchez told music channel Myx (via ABS-CBN News)
, referring to the involvement of Minaj and country singer Keith Urban as judges for the 12th season of "Idol."
"American Idol" season 12 debuts January next year.
