The Daily Show host Jon Stewart will debate Fox's Bill O'Reilly on Saturday October 6 in Washington for 90 minutes, an event anyone can watch via a livestream costing $4.95.
Calling it “The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium,” the debate will take place on October 6 at 8pm ET from Lisner Auditorium at The George Washington University. The two TV personalities are expected to discuss U.S. politics in a format mimicing a presidential debate.
The live audience can also ask Stewart and O'Reilly questions. CNN anchor E.D. Hill will moderate.
Anyone can view the debate via the provided livestream for $5. Half of the revenue will be given to various charities, the website states.
O'Reilly and Stewart have had a long history of debates, on both of their TV shows. They often butt heads over the U.S. president's policies, whether debating George W. Bush's Iraq invasion or President Obama's allies.
