Curing acne online could soon become a reality as NoviMedicine guarantees solution of anyone’s pimples by a dermatologist without actually leaving the house.
NoviMedicine is trying to make acne history as stated on its website that is to open in fall 2012. Patients suffering from acne will soon be able to send pictures of their pimples online, and dermatologists will attend to them for treatment, medication and other related medical instructions concerning skin conditions.
NoviMedicine has just started a way extending medication at home over the internet, allowing dermatologists to diagnose acne and other probable skin problems. This is an idea Joshua Spanogle, NoviMedicine Founder believes would make a history with the development of a web-based platform which would show patients the way for dermatologists to their doorsteps over the internet. For him, “Nobody should have to deal with acne” as there must something everyone can do about it.
Through the web-based platform, patients and users will be able to submit a form, which would require at most 15 minutes prior to a prompt response and private experience with skin specialists. However, for severe skin conditions, Spanogle recommends personal visit with medical experts would be necessary. From a report, Spanogle admits:
"There really is value in seeing a physician for a lot of things."
Health 2.0 website receives a comment on its article about NoviMedicine launch.
