The Irish music legends celebrated 50 years of music with a stirring performance for a packed house at the Culture Factory in Zagreb, Croatia.
The Dubliners delighted a full house of fans at the Culture Factory in Zagreb, Croatia on Friday night. The group visited the Croatian capital on their fiftieth anniversary tour, which insiders close to the group reveal is likely their farewell tour.
The band opened the night with a light instrumental jig, then tore into the crowd favorite "Seven Drunken Nights", which the crowd boisterously joined in singing. The marathon three-hour performance was supplemented by projected photomontage and video clips of live performances from the band's long history. The musicians played along in time with recorded footage of banjo player Barney McKenna, who passed away earlier this year. Adoring Croatian fans cheered the musicians on throughout the evening of emotionally stirring renditions of their most beloved songs.
