Singer Shakira sued for millions by her ex boyfriend and manager

Singer Shakira is being sued for millions of dollars by her ex boyfriend Antonio de la Rua, who is also her former manager.

According to Fox, De La Rua is suing Shakira for a sum of $250 million. De La Rua wants to be compensated after he decided to abandoned his career as a publicist when he and Shakira broke up back in 2010. According to Huffington Post, De La Rua says that he left his career when he was dating Shakira and then he became her manager, and that is why he is entitled to compensation. De La Rua also wants properties that the couple owns, which includes an apartment in New York as well as an estate in Uruguay. According to Channel 24, Shakira and De La Rua were together for eleven years before the couple called it quits. Shakira is now dating Gerard Pique, a Sapnish football star who places for the FC Barcelona team.
