article imageNetanyahu attacks U.S. policy toward Iran's nuclear program

Today, Netanyahu attacked the U.S. stance on Iran’s nuclear program, while Iran revealed its advanced missiles. Iran’s missiles can now reach Jerusalem and U.S. military bases operating in the Mideast.
From HAARETZ: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu launched an unprecedented verbal attack on the U.S. government over its stance on the Iranian nuclear program. ‘The world tells Israel 'wait, there's still time'. And I say, 'Wait for what? Wait until when?' Those in the international community who refuse to put red lines before Iran don't have a moral right to place a red light before Israel,’ said Netanyahu. ‘Now if Iran knows that there is no red line. If Iran knows that there is no deadline, what will it do? Iran will continue, without any interference, towards obtaining nuclear weapons capability and from there, nuclear bombs,’ said Netanyahu. Meanwhile, diplomats told the Associated Press that The International Atomic Energy Agency has new intelligence that Iran has advanced its work on calculating the destructive power of a nuclear warhead, a step toward building such a weapon.
From Israel National News: Iran is set to unveil a ‘domestically produced’ cruise missile capable of being launched ‘from land, sea, and air’ and reaching major Israeli cities, including Jerusalem, Iranian media reported. Iranian Deputy Defense Minister Mehdi Farahi announced the existence of the long range Iranian missile, called ‘MESHKAT. According to press reports, this advanced missile can easily reach Israeli cities, including Jerusalem. The weapon will serve as ‘the upper hand of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The MESHKAT cruise missile has a range of more than 2,000 kilometers. The cruise missile will also be capable of hitting targets as far away as the vital American military base at Diego Garcia, described by the U.S. military as the ‘tip of the spear’ for U.S. military operations in the Persian Gulf, with lies 2,400 miles from Iran.
