Action superstar Jackie Chan was guest of honor at the Toronto International Film Festival's first Asian film summit. With box office numbers dropping in North America, film making has global, particularly in the east
Chan arrived at the posh Shangri-La hotel, red carpet ready, to help promote collaborations between Asian and North American film makers.
Known for his death defying stunts, Monday's summit saw a more relaxed, poised Chan. The day long event also served to educate others on the expanding film market in Asia, where this year's opening Hollywood flick, "Looper" , was co-produced with China.
