Children are not safe even in their own homes, as a home invasion has left one child dead and the other in critical condition.
As reported by Fox News, Camden County prosecutors say 6-year-old Dominick Andujor was pronounced dead at the scene and his 12-year-old sister Amber Andujor, is in critical condition after a home intruder attacked the children as they slept in their Trenton home.
It has been reported that Amber identified the alleged suspect but the police have not yet released his name. The Associated Press reports law enforcement agencies are asking to talk with a well known man of the neighborhood, who allegedly has lacerations on his hands. A 9-year-old girl and the 14-year-old girl, who was babysitting the three younger children, after the mother of the children was reportedly hospitalized and recovering from surgery, were left unharmed.
Amber, the 12 year old girl, had her throat cut open. After the attack, she reportedly went door to door until she reached the home of Nakyta McCray who called 911.
McCray said the girl was bleeding profusely bleeding and “was barely breathing” when medical help arrived at the scene. Amber, is still listed in critical condition after surgery on Sunday.
