A Dover, FL man kept Hillsborough County Sheriff's dispatchers busy last week, repeatedly calling 911 and asking dispatchers to send female deputies so he could have sex.
Joshua Basso, 32, made at least seven calls to the 911 emergency system in a three-day period. A news release issued by the Hillsborough Country Sheriff's Office states:
Between August 22, 2012 at approximately 10:15 a.m. and August 24, 2012 at approximately 7:39 a.m. the suspect misused the 911 system to request female deputies to respond to his residence for sexual gratification.
After placing his last call 7:39 a.m. on Friday, August 22nd, deputies were sent to Basso's home at 11:20 a.m. Basso admitted to making the 911 calls according the Hillsborough Country Sheriff's Office statement, and he was placed under arrest. He was taken to the Hillsborough County jail and booked on 7 counts of making false calls to 911. He is currently being held on $3,500 bond reports the Examiner.com.
This is not the first time Basso has had a run in with the law. This marks his 14th arrest by Hillsborough County Police according to MSN Now. It is also not the first time he has been arrested for abuse of the 911 system. On November 13, 2009 he dialed 911 five times and requested sex according to SunSentinal.com.
