Stony Brook - 'Have it your way' may not be their company motto but Georgi has mixed together a new vodka for a particular taste: Breakfast. Waffle-flavored vodka will be introduced on National Waffle Day in Stony Brook, New York.
Reported in, complimentary waffle-flavored vodka and waffles will be served at the Holiday Inn Express on August 24, 2012.
"In honor of National Waffle Day, we came out with a new waffle-flavored vodka," says Martin Silver, President of Star Industries, which owns Georgi vodka. "Georgi is four times distilled and made in the United States of America and it tastes just like waffles. What better place to kick off our product than a place like Holiday Inn Express where travelers coming from all over our great country can try it?"
Georgi is considered "New York's #1 vodka" and adds this waffle-flavor to the list of other confectionery favorites such as blueberry, mango, popcorn, whipped cream and bubble gum. A full list of their flavors is available on the Star Industries website but you must be of legal drinking age to access.
At the festivities, only patrons over 21 will receive the breakfast flavored concoction, which has to be served and taken in the bar/lounge area of the hotel. They will also be treated to other waffle-inspired cocktails by Georgi like "the signature waffle-tini - the drink over ice, served with a mini waffle garnish on the rim of the glass."
The first waffle and waffle-flavored drink will be served at 9:00 a,m.
Holiday Inn Express Stony Brook is located at 3131 Nesconset Highway, Stony Brook, New York.
