On their website they state that "Aerofex is taking flight in an innovative direction." Watching this hover bike in action proves their point.
The company, Aerofex, is based in California, U.S.A. They are creating very exciting technology, "that will change the way people perceive and utilize flight."
The company has participated in experimental aircraft and spacecraft programs and has also developed approved flight structures for the air transport and motion picture industries (including the Die Hard series), as well as commercially successful products in the action sports industry.
In their quest to develop manned craft and unmanned aerial vehicles, they have come up with the hover bike. Looking like something directly out of a Sci-Fi movie, various tests and simulations are carried out with the hover bike in the video above.
In the description of the video, it states that, "Aerofex has redesigned hover vehicle technology so that it responds to a pilot's natural sense of balance without the need for flight control software."

And with regard to the hover bike, their website tells us:
"Imagine personal flight as intuitive as riding a bike. Or transporting a small fleet of first-responder craft in the belly of a passenger transport. Think of the advantages of patrolling borders without first constructing roads.
In pursuit of this vision, Aerofex is flying a proof-of-concept craft developed as a test-bed of manned and unmanned technologies."
