article imageOp-Ed: Ron Paul rally for unity & freedom sells out in Tampa

By Mindy Allan     Aug 21, 2012 in Politics
Once again the people of the United States are clearly making a statement for their choice of the next President of the United States. The "Ron Paul Rally" Aug. 26, 2012, preceding the Republican National Convention is - SOLD OUT!
The rally is to be held on the campus of the University of South Florida, in Tampa, Florida in the Sun Dome. The Sun Dome was built for multipurpose use and has a capacity of 10,411. Not only will this arena be full of Ron Paul supporters, there will be hundreds maybe thousands left outside without tickets.
Why are people coming to a rally for a man who the RNC won't even acknowledge?
Before Congress and the world he told the truth. Many did not hear his message then, but now this video recorded message to Congress has been seen around the world, and by the thousands of American who will be at the Ron Paul Rally.
Why aren't the other two major candidates running for President getting crowds like Ron Paul?
Both Obama and Romney have thousands of videos on Youtube like Ron Paul, but unlike Dr. Paul most of theirs is from mainstream media while 90% of Ron Paul news and support has been from the people.
If you are one of the lucky ones who was able to obtain a golden ticket to what will be the biggest people powered political event in the history of the United States, you are among the fortunate.
If the city of Tampa has some intellect in its management it will take steps to prevent the hundreds, possibly thousands without tickets from creating problems outside. By moving the rally to Tampa Stadium which can hold more people and also would alleviate the large numbers of Ron Paul supporters who would be outside of the facility it would prevent numerous problems that are bond to arise if they don't
Knowing that this event is "Sold Out" if the city off Tampa doesn't take steps to secure a bigger site for the Ron Paul Rally, and any type of aggression with police, the city makes itself liable for any injures knowing that the venue is sold out with hundreds still wanting them.
Tampa police demonstrate in this video, what to expect from anyone who might be considering having a unlawful assembly, and what they will have to deal with if they do. Is a gathering of hundreds without tickets outside unlawful?
If the city of Tampa doesn't take steps to prevent a problem that could stem from this overflow of people, then it clearly indicates that they take all responsibility for any occurrence that might arise outside of the Sun Dome.
Will the Ron Paul Rally be moved to accommodate the supporters, or will the Ron Paul Rally be turned into a brutality feast with police outside because they won't want to leave?
Time will tell what choice was made....
